Born on July 27, 1994, Jérémy Manca is a French contemporary music composer who explores the dialogue between diverse musical traditions. His artistic approach combines classical and contemporary music, the sophisticated harmonies of jazz, and the asymmetrical rhythms of amplified contemporary music.
Initially trained as an electric guitarist at the Conservatory of Grenoble, he began his first compositional works there while taking courses in arrangement and composition with Karim Maurice. He then continued his studies at IESM in Aix-en-Provence, where he earned a State Diploma in 2020 as a professor of electric guitar.
Alongside his studies, he continued composing for various ensembles, several of which were performed in concert. In 2021, the association Muses&Co organized a concert dedicated to his works at the Muzicatreize hall. In 2023, he wrote a piece for the CelloFan Festival, performed by renowned cellists such as Frédéric Audibert, Ariane Lallemand, and Xavier Chatillon, and in 2025, he collaborated with mandolinist Vincent Beer-Demander on a new composition. Many projects are also underway, including recordings of his pieces, and other creations will be presented soon.
